Question of the Day - 12/06 "Fantasy Football Friday"

:blueshoe:  My team has been in first place for a few weeks.

However - following the loss of Reggie Wayne - I've struggled to find a suitable replacement.  Additionally - I dropped Eric Decker after a few lackluster weeks - right before his breakout game - naturally !!

Picked up a win Sunday - and - remain in first place.

I'm hoping that Matt Stafford plus my running back stable of Adrian Peterson - Matt Forte - Giovanni Bernard - and - Rashad Jennings - can lead me to my first fantasy championship in 8 years.  Last time I won - I had both Peyton Manning & Marvin Harrison during Manning's NFL record season !!  :blueshoe:

I play in a few leagues but only 1 money league.  $100 a person, 12 teams.

Drafted:

QB A Luck

HB A Foster

HB D Murray

Flex F Gore

WR AJ Green

WR TY Hilton

TE J Thomas (ya, i drafted him in 3 leagues)

DST Seahawks

IR L Bell

I later traded Foster (1 week before going on IR) for Josh Gordon at WR and traded FA pickup A Dalton (when another teams QB got hurt and Dalton went off for 40 points) for R Bush.  I also added R Jennings, B Tate, T Brady (he was dropped and I added right before he played PIT), and A Brown throughout the season.

I now am sitting in 1st place with a bye with:

QB: Luck, Brady

RB: Gore

RB: Murray

Flex: Bush

WR: Green

WR: Gordon

TE: Thomas

DST: Seahawks

Bench: Bell, Jennings, Tate, Brown, Hilton

I already won the regular season and am gonna run the table and win the playoffs too ;)

Finished 7th out of 14. And i'm currently in the middle of the first playoff round.

And i don't think i can do anything really to improve it at all. No flex league. My team is this:

QB: Peyton

RB: Lynch

RB: A choice of Mcfadden/Brandon Jacobs or Darrell Young. Not good anyway i look at it.

WR: Steve Smith

WR and WR: Choice of T.Austin/ Robert Woods/ Doug Baldwin/ Ted Ginn/ Santonio Holmes/ Donnie Avery

TE: J.Thomas

K: Prater

Def: Colts

Nothing really to add from waivers.

Opposition has:

QB: Wilson

RB: MJD

RB: Murray

WR: Megatron

WR: Rod Streater

WR: James Jones

TE: Bennett

K: Gostkowski

Def: Seahawks

Somehow I don't think i'll advance through this round so there is no real point me making any moves. Think the people in bold could actually beat my entire team just by themselves.

I've made the playoffs on points alone,  the teams that get in are the division winners and the 2nd place division teams, and the last two spots were to point leaders. PPR league. $65.

My lineup for this week's playoff wildcard spot:

QB:  Alex Smith

RB:  Stephan Jackson

RB:  Fred Jackson

WR: Calvin Johnson

WR: Dez Bryant

TE:  Tony Gonzales

FLEX: Robert Griffin III

K:    Garrett Hartley

DST: Seahawks

Bench

WR:  Brian Hartline

RB:  Jaquizz Rodgers

RB:  Pierre Thomas

QB:  Andrew Luck

DST:  Cardinals

TE:  Garrett Graham

I hope Gonzales does better than 21 points that Garret Graham scored thursday night.

I'm in a 10 team league and had first place throughout the whole season with only 1 loss. Went in and lost the last 2 weeks (bad decisions on my part and crazy luck on theres) lol. This is first week of the playoffs I'm now sitting in 3rd place and this is my lineup.

QB:  Russell Wilson

RB:  Matt Forte

RB:  Leveon Bell

WR: A.J. Green

WR: Pierre Garcon

TE:  Jared Cook

FLEX: Ben Tate (already played and was a disappointment)

FLEX: Greg Jennings

K:    Adam Vinateri

DST: Ravens

Bench consists of

Andrew Luck

Donald Brown

Trent Richardson

Anquan Boldin

Michael Crabtree

Ryan Mathews

Jordan Reed

Any suggestions guys? And I know going with Jennings is a long shot however Matt Cassell is already named starting QB and the 2 games he has played are the 2 games that Jennings has the TD's
