So - we're going to salute our Veterans & active-duty military personnel with today's question.

 

   What veterans or active-duty military are you saluting today ??

   My friend & military veteran Jim

In the uk, at 11 o clock this morning, we had a 2 minute silence in class.

Even if I didn't know anyone personally, I still did pray to thank those who have served, presently or in the past

My uncle Thomas Morrissey, WWII, killed in France 19 years old

My family, friends, and myself who served proudly from Civil War to Now.

To my close friends I lost and made it home from iraq and afgahnistan.

Also all the veterans who served.

My father who spent 20 years in the Air Force and my Grandfather who served in the Army along with my Uncle who served in the Navy.

My deceased Grandfather who fought in WWII.  It is an honor to be currently stationed at the same post that he mobilized though on his way to Europe.  I am also saluting my nephew who followed me into the Army and is now serving with 3rd Special Forces Group in Afghanistan.

Probably my dad who was a med tech in Korea. Veterans of that war never get enough respect largely because it is viewed historically as a "police action" vs a military conflict.
