I've been wondering why the Texans let him go.  If he had bad hands, that would make sense.  Or perhaps they were trying to send him to the practice squad.  But it seems like he has some good hands now.

He always botched punts with us or juggled the ball and ended up having unspectacular returns. We knew he had potential but he never realized it here.

Well, they also let go of Jacoby Jones.  Don't really know what that means (and it could mean nothing), but the facts are, they let go of 2 returners that produced WAY more after leaving them.

no way they did that on purpose! if you commit a penalty, and the return was a good (or a td) the broncos decline the penalty and the play stands..

 

i think it happened because of the position on the field and inside 2 minutes, so nobody wanted to be that guy to whiff on a block..
