Chargers will run more 4 man fronts than the Colts will, explains all the moves with Freeney and Nevis.

 

I saw Freeney play vs the Cardinals, he was not used for every series when the starters were in. Nevis will be the same, a rotational pass rusher. I wanted Nevis in the same role for the Colts too but apparently, the Colts' valued playing 2 positions in a mediocre manner like Rico Mathews over playing 1 position real well in the 1-gap pass rushing role Nevis would have more.
