I saw that Marlin Jackson had been cut by the Eagles. Forgive my ignorance if everybody already knows this, but is he still out there? Can we get him? Would we still want him? At least he gives us some much-needed depth! Just asking....

Achilles injuries are horrible to come back from especially a position that stops, cuts, & needs explosive speed. On top of that injury he has had 2 ACL injuries. I love the guy, but VERY HARD to to back from those types of injuries 3 years in a row.

He had the potential to be really good, but he was/is very injury-prone. He wouldn't be a big addition to the team since we probably won't be able to have him for even half of the season.

I am sure we could if we wanted too but I think poor Marlin has been done in by injuries. It's too bad I liked him a lot and he will always have one of the greatest moments in Colts history. He is one of a handful of Colts I've had a chance to meet over the years and the dude is a great guy.

I would love to have him back. Great guy, great player, just an unfortunate injury prone guy. Maybe bring him in as a secondary coach or assistant?

And those Achillies injuries are the ones that worry me most trying to come back from. ACL injuries used to be the major career threatening ones but they've become more and more common to return from. The Achillies ones can still be a killer.
