 Love the list.

Special mention to 1-14. The "Incredibles"!

And of course all of the rest were/are enjoy team carrying ability.

Thanks, Yeah it may be my best one. I even mentioned John Stockton, had too as he is the all-time Assist leader. Durant and Giannis are incredible talents as well. Maybe George Mikan should be top 25 but that is debatable.

The Pacers should draft Lebrons kid if he is available in the second round.

This aged like fine wine. After this happened, I bet $1 on the Lakers to win the NBA Finals next year. Get $31 dollars if they do. I'm buying into the conspiracy theory that the league will give it to Lebron and Bronny. Also think the Lakers will make a move or two in FA.

Looks like he is a Laker.   I thin the Pacers should have drafted him and then lured LeBron to the Pacers.   That could break the curse and keep the Pacers as a legitimate title contender.

Jared, put $50 on the Lakers to win it all. They are getting +4000 odds, you would win $2000, if you lose, you lose just $50. Hear me out, those odds will drop bigtime shortly because I think the Lakers will make a huge move to bolster their roster.

LeBron wins his 5th tying Magic and Kobe, Lakers tie Boston with 18. Perfect ending because LeBron looks like a hero + he just beat Kareem's record too. The Simpsons GIF by KiwiGo (KGO)

Just $50!!! I know it’s all relative when it’s a hobby for you. I say put $5 to win $200 but $50 is a lot to lose.

Saying that I have spent 10x that to try a piece of music gear or a new tool and they sit in the cabinet. Heck I have two $200 guitar pedals sitting on my dresser I have never turned on.

Not judging, I find it funny how I tighten up with gambling at the thought of losing a single dollar but will blow hundreds to thousands on music gear.

Jared is a gambler. I agree, even 25 would be a good bet to win a 1000.

While I have you here, what do you think the Pacers will do with Jarace Walker and Obi Toppin?  Looks like they can only keep one.

I think Toppin is gone. I don't necessarily like it because he is so athletic but Walker has more potential.

I’m trying to learn more about the NBA landscape. Players seem to move teams frequently bc chemistry is huge in basketball. I thought Toppin was an awesome contributor during the playoffs. I’m seeing is a restricted free agent so it really depends how much other teams are willing to offer. I think they keep him if no one goes much higher than his 7.7m qualifying offer.

A few articles have suggested trading Walker and picks while his value is high for another win now piece. I can see the logic in this, especially if they like Mathurin and signing Siakam to a max contract.

Pacers typically aren’t a free agent destination so if they can improve their top 7 and make real push into contender territory, they have some decisions to make.

Toppin was toying with Knicks. That Dunk he had when he went between the legs and wind milled it to put us up 20 in Game 7 was the exclamation point. I look at 3 of the 4 Boston games and the difference to me was their experience. They have been deep in the playoffs many years and just know how to close games better than us. As of now in the East we are a top 4 team at least, Boston, NY, and Milwaukee are the other 3. We were fortunate that Giannis was out for the Bucks.

ESPN is reporting Toppin is getting 4yrs 60m to stay with the Pacers.

Many are calling the Pacers pick of Furphy as a huge draft steal. Most projections had him in the top 20 of the 1st round, and even a few felt he could be as early as top 5!

That young man could be a huge contributor for the team next year.

What I’m reading on him the Pacers did get good value. Looks like he will need time to develop but he is in the right situation to do that. The pacers are stacking some quality young players that will prove to be more outstanding depth or assets if they choose to make a trade. Very exciting time for the team right now.

I hope we keep Toppin, I didn't think we would. Paul George went to Philly for 4 years/212 Mill, so now we have them to deal with as well besides Boston, NY, and Milwaukee. I thought we were better than Philly before the George deal, not sure now.

I saw that too. Pacers will rely on improved play from the young players.  There is a lot of talent on the bench. I have no doubt they will be looking around the league to see if someone is available to help them win now. Not sure if they should though. With improved defense, ascending talent and another year of chemistry from playing together should be enough. I prefer for the team to have high end depth than trade it away for a 3rd max contract player.

Pacers signed James Wiseman today for 2yrs. Appears to be a good signing after losing Jalen Smith. Wiseman has never lived up to his #2 overall draft position but hopefully the Pacers can bring more out of him. Even if he doesn’t improve he should still be a decent back up center.

Celtics Jayson Tatum recently signed a 5 year contract extension for 315 million. As far as I know that's more than any NFL player makes.  Tatum must be one of the highest paid NBA players right now.

He is and he is overrated. He is a great player but I could even argue his teammate Brown is better. Let me say this, I know I come off as a Tatum hater, I really am not. He just never performs in the playoffs like a #1 option. Brown won the MVP for example. Take Brown off that team and the Mavs would have definitely beat them then. Tatum is on a loaded team, they have Brown, Porzingis, White, Holiday, and Horford.

Off the top of my head, players that are better than Tatum are:

Joker, Luka, Giannis, Embiid, Edwards, SGA, and even Brown - so he isn't top 7. I would even take Brunson and Haliburton over him - they have more responsibility playing PG and are young as well. I have Tatum top 10 - he is slightly better than Butler and Mitchell, Tatum is great but shaky at times, he cracks my top 10 because LeBron, Curry, and Durant are old and Leonard is always injured. Without Haliburton, the Pacers would be a .500 team. Without Brunson so would the Knicks. Without Tatum, Boston would still win 55 games with Brown/Porzingis/Holiday/White/Horford, they could have won around 70 this past season but quit playing the last 2 weeks.

To follow this up before a certain poster tells me the NBA disagrees with me about Tatum because he made 1st team All-NBA, I would just reply and say no way is he better than Edwards. I would take Edwards over him all day and twice on Sunday. Edwards got jipped lmao making 2nd team. Without Edwards, the Wolves wouldn't even make the playoffs in the West.
