What could the Colt reasonably get for Freeney on draft day?

Samual just got the Eagles a 5th or 6th rounder, so I doubt Freeney would fetch more than a 4th. Maybe we could offer a 3ed and Freeney for a team 2ed. I have a feeling that he will be traded on draft day or soon after. He has a huge cap number and doesn't want to be in a 3-4.

Yeah.... that Samuel trade didn't help at all. I thought Samuel would fetch more than a 7th.

IMO.... Freeney is honestly worth a 3rd rounder to a team looking for a pass-rusher but misses out on some of this year's top 4-3 DE prospects.

But finding a team that falls into that description is a longshot. I keep hoping Miami will part with one of their 3rd rounders for Dwight.... but we'd likely have to settle for less.

We'd probably have to package him with another pick to get anything good. The Samuel trade didn't help at all.

I would hope we could at least get a 4th rounder. If Freeney is unwilling to lower his cap hit with his new team he is kind of a jerk. As long as a team gets assurance he will restructure, we should be able to get AT LEAST a 4th.

A long as Freeney agrees to a new contract with a new team I would think we could get a 4th or 5th rounder. I could see someone like the Bears trading for him. Shea McClellin isn't ready to start at DE in the NFL (should of been drafted by a 3-4 team at OLB).
