MarylandTerrapin
If the Colts and Texans end up at 10-6 (with the Texans beating the Jags week 17), then the Colts and Texans will both have a 4-2 division record. The next tiebreaker is common opponents. Indy will win the division based on a better record against common opponents (9-5 vs 8-6). Starting with the 2002 realignment and balanced schedule, the common opponent tiebreaker is ranked above the conference record when breaking ties within a division. For teams in the same division, there are 14 games with common opponents vs 12 conference games.
NorthernBlue
I had this in my week 14 playoff scenario thread but basically it’s pretty simple. if both teams finish 10-6, Indy wins the division.
neug3246
How are the dolphins ahead of the colts in the wild card scenariowhen the colts beat them head to head?

I think it has to do with the Ravens being there too. It screws up everything else. Basically once Ravens are not a WC we end up over MIA since we beat them
