No he isn't .  Closer to Simon who was considered to be too small.  I don't see him being anything more than a situational pass rusher at best.

Of course it is.  Doesn't mean that some of us still don't want to try to understand the rationale and thinking of this front office.  Scheme fit can't be used as the reason for his release after this kind of signing.  That's my point.

Instead of just comparing height and weight of players (which aren't exact matches anyway), you need to explain other measurables, skills, and techniques of the players and how they fit a 4-3 vs. a 3-4 , and Nickel/Dime etc...

Gee, Simon is no more than a situational pass rusher on this roster, injury issues, old enough to not be here when we are likely to be an emerging team, and he burns #3M of cash that will be useful on a better piece of the puzzle in the very near future.
