TJ Leaf....18 points. 3 rebounds, no turnovers in 21 minutes

That's so encouraging because we dont have to resign him or pay him $20 mil.

He's ours for a 2 more years

We need him....and McDermott to get that 3rd seed

If we get the 3 and play the Nets, we will win that series pretty easily IMO. Like 4-1, maybe 4-2.

Bogdonavic AVERAGES 17 points a game....is that true?

..and no one outside of Indy has ever heard of him...

He just needed a place where he could get comfortable on and off the court thankfully it was Indiana. After watching him play in the Olympics in Brazil I was sold. He did it all for Croatia.  It was amusing when the word was he was just a 3 point specialist who was a liability almost in every other part of the game. The guy looks like an all star

We resign him for sure he's going to get a pay raise much deserved. I'd like to see Thad and Wes back too. This team is going to be dangerous this year but look out when Vic gets back

I know we have a lot of players to sign but I'm thinking we might just offer everybody (Bogdonavic, Thad Young, Collison and Cory Joseph) a 2-year deal...

..and ride with this team for the last 2 years of Vic's contract.

I think we may already have an understanding with Wesley Mathews that he'll be back next season. If not, we let Evans go and keep Wes.

Holiday and Leaf are on the rise...Sumner and Alize are in the pipeline\..and we held onto our No.1 pick

Cant bring back half the 'core gang'

I dont think Aaron Holiday is ready to be a starting point guard

Depends on our Cap space. I would love to bring them all back but not sure we can? The 3 I named are a must though IMO.

Well, we didnt include Tyreke....($12 mil) and O'Quinn (4.5 mil)

....and again..Aaron Holiday is your starting point guard if you dont resign Collison.

We wont win the East with Holiday as the starting point guard

I guess it could happen if we do not bring back Tyreke.

We could try to sign Kemba Walker but thats at least $25 mil a year and then we'd have to move on from Collison and Tyreke and it gets back to breaking up this group that plays well together.

We eventually will have to break up this group...but do we want to do it next year?

I want this group together next year with Vic, I think we can win the East and maybe the whole thing in 2020 depending on who the Warriors lose.

Then I'd forget free agents.....resign Thad Young, Bogdonavic, Collison and Wesley Mathews

Move in Holiday to replace Tyreke on the second team.

..ask Wesley Matthews to stay as the '2' guard on the second team with Holliday, Sabonis, TJ Leaf and McDermott

With Vic I think we should roll with that.

Philly just won

The tricky part is what we ask of Matthews. He's always started all his career.

We will ask him to give his starting position back to Vic and move to the 2nd team

We have probably already discussed this with him, I'd bet.

It probably comes down to how well we do in the playoffs...(and cash money)

If we win a series or two, he'll want to stay....for maybe $12-$14 mil,.

He, in effect, would be out 'free agent acquisition'

This is not a bad team to be on for a veteran player.

We have a lot of veterans who are on their third or fourth team

I’d like to see Bogy Thad and Wes back for sure. Tyreke’s money can be better spent IMO. I’d look to upgrade our PG’s if possible

Holiday isn’t ready to start but man his brother is. Jrue is a guy I’d love to have. We could lock teams down with Jrue and Vic in the backcourt then Myles at the rim.

We have plenty of time to figure that out.  I want to see what we can this year without Vic. We have a dangerous group if we can get healthy

76ers (40-22) won....the Pacers (41-22) stay ahead by just 1/2 game

It’s going to take some doing to stay in front of Philly. The game at OKC was a L on paper when I looked at their schedule.

We have to stay in the '3' spot

I dont want to be the '4' and play Boston

we need the last two wins on this home stand and then we need Sabonis back before we play Milwaukee.

I'm all for giving Wesley Matthews a 2-3 year contract when FA approaches.

The question becomes whether or not he would be comfortable coming off the bench with Oladipo coming back.

Leaf and Tyreke with nothing tonight

...we need some help out there,,

Tyreke is so inconsistent. Some games he looks really good and other games he looks plain awful.
