Fanspeak Simulated Draft

This is what I got using the CBS Sports rankings and the user selected team needs, and I did it on the classic setting.

Well, I couldn't get it to paste so I got:

1)  Chubb - DE, NC St

2a)Tyrell Crosby, OT, Oregon

2b)Leighton Vander Esch, OLB, Boise St

2c)Billy Price, C, Ohio St

3) Deontay Burnett, WR, USC

4) Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego St

5) Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida St

6) Hercules Mata'Afa, DE, Wash St

7) Jack Cichy, ILB, Wisconsin

 

I'm a firm believer in building the lines up first, that's why I went heavy at the top on these areas.  Penny was too good to pass up on in round 4, and Hercules was still there in round 6.

I like it but Penny will go before round 4 and I believe that Leighton will go in the first.

Those sites are fun...but so so so unrealistic. I think they are like that because they want fans to be happy. They always push good players down etc. Like its candy for NFL fans. They just tell you what you want to hear lol. That mock would be incredible if it worked out like that but I'm afraid its terribly unrealistic.

Yeah, I don't put any stock in these things.  Madden is just as unrealistic where real life trades aren't accepted and they want you to overpay like hell.  Yet you can game the system and trade a 73 Overall OT for a 6th.  Then, promptly sign another 73 Overall OT off the street.  Rinse and repeat.

 

Like you said, it's just fun.  At least in the other game you can trade.

I would agree.  But what else we got to do until the draft?  I would poop out bricks though if it went anything like this.

Uhhh maybe go outside....get's some fresh air.....talk to your wife! lol I'm just as bad...but yeah need to get another hobby. Basketball at the church right now is mine....and checking my trail cams and getting ready for turkey season. However this cell phone is like crack...and checking this board for news. ughhh
