upgrades?

Langford wasn't a bad player in St. Louis until last season then he was replaced with a rookie. St.Louis has had a very good defensive front 7 the last couple of years, my only question is he has played in a 4-3 defense his whole NFL career (Miami and St.Louis) I believe, so how well will he play switching to a 3-4 defense?

 

He actually played in a 3-4 in Miami, and was probably at his best then. And last season, he didn't necessarily play bad, but Aaron Donald is just so good as a one-gapper, and Langford isn't. Langford is more of a five-tech, two-gapper, and that makes him a pretty good fit in our front.

I actually see Langford mainly lined up as the 3 tech to replace Francois but I also expect he will play up and down the line

we got some new players in these spots , I don't see monsters or game changers, but we may have some upgrades

October 18 will let us know 2 things.

 

1. Have we upgraded our Defense and our Oline

2. Do we get out Coached again

 

I for one believe we have added good pieces, but time and coaching will tell
