Relentless trying to get to the quaterback. Fights through blocks any way he can. Posses a plethora of pass rushing moves. Very polished player. Swim move is devastating. JJ Watt-esque. ex. Acceleration is top notch even if long speed isn't. The Bad: Couple of bad judgement lapses here. ex. http://www.draftbreakdown.com/gif-embed/?clip=253757&gif=LegitimateShimmeringComet ex. http://www.draftbreakdown.com/gif-embed/?clip=253757&gif=SecondBigDwarfmongoose Average athletic ability. He wins with brains, not brawn. Doesn't power through RBs like he should. Tries to dance around them in pass protection instead of plowing over them. Doesn't play in coverage. Pure edge rusher. Don't ask him to stay at home and play the run like is asked of Walden. It's not his game. He can hold an edge well and stay disciplined in his lane, but he doesn't really have the strength the blocker an make the sop consistently. Average first step. Conclusion: I didn't know anything about Mauldin before today. But after watching him, I've moved him to my 2nd ranked edge rusher behind Beasley. Maudlin is a relentless technician that will flourish as an edge rusher in a 3-4 defense. I seem him ranked around the 2nd round, which is where I'll guess he goes, but I think he's a 1st round caliber player. Projected Round: 2ndNFL Comparison: Chandler Jones, NE
Steagles
He has a motor that never stops (until its forced to). By that, I mean that in every single one of our games at Louisville, he has picked up a knock and gone out for a snap or a series or whatever. He is a terrific player and an even better person. 21isSuperman
Those swim moves had me like I'm curious to see if his pass rush moves are all consistent. All those swim moves were against one team. While Mauldin did impress me, I also came away with the conclusion that Virginia must not have very good tackles

He got to every quarterback he faced using his moves, even Jameis (although Jameis threw it away).
UKColt13
I like him. The "bad judgement lapses" you mentioned were on a read option end around that looked like it was actually a triple option, and a well worked read option. I wont fault him too much for those. Reminds me a bit of Bruce Irvin, minus a little of the athletic ability.
