bayone
Clark suffered a burner and Wheeler hurt his right foot in a 24-10 loss at Baltimore last Sunday that dropped the NFL's only winless team to 0-13. Neither player practiced Wednesday and coach Jim Caldwell made it sound like Wheeler wouldn't work out today."He's day-to-day," Caldwell said. "It does not look good for today."The coach didn't say much definitive about Clark, a ninth-year pro who has already missed three games this season with a leg injury."Dallas is day-to-day and hopefully he'll continue to improve," Caldwell said. "He's improving, but we'll see how fast."Asked if the burner is to the shoulder or neck, the evasive Caldwell said, "It's a burner."http://www.indystar....rk-Wheeler-gameName Position Injury Practice Status Game StatusJamaal Anderson DE Groin Did Not Participate In Practice --Dallas Clark TE Neck Did Not Participate In Practice --A.J. 21isSuperman
By the way..is NOT INJURY RELATED - DID NOT PRACTICE..code language for "I'm old and its late in the season"...?From what I've seen, Freeney and Mathis tend to get that status a lot. Not injury related, DNP. Not sure the exact reason why though

oldunclemark
I think at their age.....They are better off watching film on a Wednesday or Thursday ...I'm not sure there's a lot they can learn from going against our offensive lineI just have this mental image of Freeney, Mathis and Saturday sitting on the couch down in the basement of the Lucas Oil Stadiumwatching film, eating wings and drinking beer. runstuffer
Actually, Caldwell has been on the injured list most if not all of the year. How the team doctors get him ready for game day is a modern miracle. It's been pretty much the same ailment every week. Head lodged up the shvinkter. After 3 more weeks of this debilatating condition, someone better hold the door for him so it doesn't hit him on his way out. What do they say? Don't let it hit ya where the good lord split ya!
