Congrats to Luck

I also think its wise to compare and contrast (I think that's how to say it) a players overall production and importance to a team vs the mistakes he makes....Luck was a prime example of that this year......16 ints (which I really don't think is a ton to begin with but some people seemed to flip out some this year about it).....But he more then made up for that with more then double the TD's and with his ability to preserve under tough circumstances (primarily being a 1 dimensional team)

Bad plays are going to happen and they may happen...But ya have to look at a players production and weigh it with the bad, I have said for a long time now that Luck has a lot of Brett Favre in him(as has a couple others around here)....The GREAT and the bad....There will be bad but the great more then makes up for it....and the bad is not why Favre did not win more SB's...Nor is it the reason why we have not won a SB.

I'd gladly take and Andrew Luck or a Brett Favre as my QB on any day of the week

Out of curiosity though...how many fumbles did he have?  It seemed like an awful lot this year.  That has to be added to his interception total and compared with his touchdowns to get a more accurate picture of his touchdown production vs. turnover problems.  That said...he had a great statistical year with his TD's and passing yards.

22 turnovers is way too many. I know Andrew Luck is above criticism in Indianapolis but I don't care. He can't be considered elite until he stops turning it over both by interception and fumble. Hopefully he doesn't give Cincinnati or Pittsburgh the ball 3 times next week like he did to KC last year. He had 7 INTs in 2 playoff games last year, that's pathetic.

    • The Colts handed Taylor a boat load of money which is unheard for a running back in today’s NFL.  You don’t do that and take him off the field in crucial situations for Trey Sermon and Tyler Goodson.  Shane has done just that in two of the last three games he’s coached.  Not playing maybe your best offensive weapon for a whole fourth quarter is criminal.  Shane is trying to be too cute and over thinking things trying to fool other teams and it’s not working in the slightest.  Play your best players at the most critical points of games.  That’s why you paid them.
    • People come up with the strangest over reactions ever when the Colts lose.
    • I agree 100 Ballard time is up , him and Bradley. You can preach accountability and retain Bradley another year….Ballard loves to say guys just need to hit the layup… he should take his own advice we all knew we needed help in the secondary this year no moves, we all knew we needed help last year at corner , oline year before. I talking about obvious weaknesses media calls him out on it year after year and he plays it off like he smarter than everyone then admit mistakes at the end of year and does the same thing. Bradley doesn’t make any adjustment like he runs what he runs and that it
    • To be honest this is malpractice by Ballard ….. like I know they think us fans are stupid but some of us played sports , coached sports , watched sports etc… we know what we are seeing like everyone knew we needed depth in the second. But Ballard doesn’t bring vets in and makes guys compete for a job he hands them to players he thinks are nice people a deserve a shot. Ala Pinter, NFL is a league where you get what you earn ,you eat what you kill , not what you deserve. Ballard need to take a hard look at him self at look at how other teams that win are built. We need speed at the corner position and a scheme shift. Like no HC under Ballard has been able to pick they DC he normally has one before they get hired and they retain Ballard guy
