Through First 45 Games

Luck: 12,501 Yards, 82 TD, 40 INT, Sacked 97 Times, 28 Fumbles, 882 Yards, 12 TDs

Manning: 11,666 yards, 80 TD, 57 INT, Sacked 53 Times, 14 Fumbles, 234 Rush Yards, 2 TDs

Through First 44 Games

Hilton: 200 catches, 3,089 yards, 17 TD

Harrison: 196 catches, 2,478 yards, 21 TD

*Marvin only played 12 games in his third year, so I didn't include Hilton's stats from the Browns game.

Luck has not thrown as many interceptions as Manning, but Luck definitely needs to hold on to the ball and not fumble.  But, it doesn't help being sacked 44 more times than Manning.  Luck also is a way better runner than Manning, which helps when there is no one open and he can run. Hilton has done a fantastic job and is putting up better numbers than Marvin did in his first three games.  Let's open T.Y. can continue to produce like Marvin did.

Just the players' first three seasons. Harrison had 3,852 yards in Manning's first three season from 1998-2000. He was also the main target for Manning.

I'm thinking now since Hilton has become a main target to Luck now, he'll be getting more catches and yards and his numbers will be close to Marvin's.

manning had a better o line and are u comparing it when manning arrived for harrison or before

Meadows, McKinney, Moore, Leevenberg (sp), Mandarich, Jackson were hardly average. Glenn was the only one worth something, and through Castanzo's first four year he is on par with Tarik.

Manning was sacked less than once a game from '07 - '10, are you going to try and say that was a good line? Manning is just good at getting rid of the ball quick, and that has been the case from day one. I'm not saying Luck is bad, but he holds on to the ball that leads to hits and sacks. Maybe it was because Manning was never athletic like Andrew, but he knew living to fight another day is usually the best option sometimes. Something Andrew doesn't seem to realize yet.

Was peyton always good at these things?

There's no way to go back and see the release times for these QB comparisons
