Could Grigson make another big trade next season?

Wow. Those aren't holes. And even if I give you those positions (I don't) those would be 'upgrades'.

Sure they are.. If Bethea walks there will be a hole at safety..

People on here think we will release Toler.. If so another hole.

I'm pretty positive Angerer is gone and we need someone to play alongside Freeman..

Reggie is our best WR hands down but a ACL injury and his age is a huge concern plus he's entering the last year of his contract.. We need a proven WR to grow up Luck.. People want Rogers but he's still a huge ?

The defensive line nobody really knows what's going on there..

Ricky Jean hasn't lived up to his 22 million dollar contract.

Franklin hasn't done anything.

Maola is set to be a free agent..

Redding is aging.. Mathis too.

Who knows how Werner will develop.

I'm not sure we have enough in the cupboard to swing a big trade. At some point, you have to develop from the draft or the cap catches you way too fast

imo the draft picks take too long to develop. grigs has had good luck getting low priced high skill players from our farm system. which is the cfl

yeah. Forget the draft and just grab the wealth of talent in the cfl.

That's how you build a dynasty

Yeah, tell that to Anquan Bolden. :) He came out of UConn's 4/3 under Todd Orlando where he was not a press corner. Heck he didn't even have enough talent to play press in High School. He was a safety. He did however play the wide side of the field at UConn so he's talented. But he would be better as a zone corner.

I'm glad we have him but he's fortunate to be on the team. He plays well NOW in press because of coaching. But he sucked at it initially...otherwise he'd still be in New England instead of Kyle Arrington or down in Carolina.

Why does his high school position matter? He's a man press CB now, and darn good at it.

Nice avatar. Not.

    • If he is indeed healthy and has no physical limitations, then a conversation needs to be had. You sign a kicker to the contract we signed Gay to to be able to hit the ones over 50+. You can’t cut a vet like Shaq Leonard last year for poor play, but then let the kicker routinely miss kicks and not make a change.    @NewColtsFan has said that there are cap ramifications that make a cut unlikely, so I’ll trust that info. But at the very least he needs to be a healthy scratch and you need to see what you have in your other kicker.
    • I think we both see the same things.  Its not easy to describe.  IMO, AR looks more gangly and awkward than what he was billed to be by some and I do think some of that is natural physique combined with being an inexperienced runner.  Not saying that he is either, he just lands more towards that side of the line than Cam Newton, who simply looked stouter and more fluid whenever he moved.   Do you remember Vince Young?  Big and fast too, but don't think AR will ever run like him   I need to watch more for sure.
    • I blame Ballard for his Gay support
    • You can call him injured but that doesn’t put him on the practice squad.
    • I disagree.  Jags own us in Jacksonville.  We could lose versus them there and win the rest of our games. Granted I prefer to win, but the jags in Jacksonville  is by far the hardest game on our schedule and it isn't  particularly  close.
