Why no games on Christmas?

I don't know I don't think there was a game on Christmas last year either so what gives.

Thanksgiving is Thursday every year...

 

When Christmas is Saturday or Sunday, there's always been games on Christmas...

 

Plus the last week of December is the end of the season...You want everybody playing the final Saturday or Sunday

No way NFL teams can play on a Sunday and come back and play again on a Wednesday. The Thursday thing doesn't even really work , Wednesday is impossible. Furthermore if that game involved playoff teams , it would give that or those teams a large advantage in preparation for wild card weekend. Plus if a team needed to win week 17 to make the playoffs and was the road team for this Wednesday game , they would be at a huge disadvantage.

I guess it makes sense but that's why they should put nonplayoff teams like the Jaguars and Browns or something

The NFL has said they are getting rid of the Saturday games as the ratings dip compared to Sunday.

I am fine not having them as people should be with their love ones and friends not working.

I'd prefer Friday Night games as opposed to Thursday Night games.

The NFL doesn't play on Wednesdays. Christmas is the NBA's. I watched A Christmas Story. It should be mandatory. Great old school classic.

a couple years ago when Christmas was on Sunday all the games were on Saturday.
