Who to root for: Week 16 edition

Wins that need to happen for us to have a chance to increase our playoff seeding and/or make our road to the Superb Owl easier.:

Obvious

Colts over Chiefs: Duh

Ravens over Patriots: A Patriots loss puts them at 10-5 on the season. We hold the tie-breaker over them via better conference record. If we win the next 2 weeks and the Patriots lose either of their last 2, we place higher than them.

Vikings over the Bengals: Bengals hold the tie-breaker over us via head-to-head record. For us to jump them in the standings, we need to hold a one game advantage over them. We need them to lose their next 2 games.

Texans over Broncos: We still have an outside (albeit unlikely) shot at the #1 seed in the AFC. If both us and the Broncos finish a 11-5, we hold the tie-breaker over them via head-to-head record. Need them to drop their next 2.

Not so obvious:

Dolphins over Bills: I don't know about you guys, but I'd much rather not have our road to the Super Bowl having to go through Foxboro. If Miami wins out and the Patriots lose out, the Dolphins take the division.

Raiders over the Chargers: You wanna see us play the Chargers in the playoffs again? Didn't think so. A loss here basically eliminates the Chargers.

I'd love it if Miami won the division that would be one awesome Christmas gift

It's very quite possible. The problem is that Flacco has a minor mcl injury on his ankle. We've seen what happens when Brady and RG3 tried playing through it. And on the other hand, the Pats are without gronk. So that automatically take 21 points off the board for the Pats...

Who knows this one is unpredictable now...
