Julius Thomas, Denver Broncos player, arrested for failing to appear in court

Thomas, 25, was charged with failing to yield to an emergency vehicle on Jan. 25, according to court records.

He was scheduled to appear in court for the misdemeanor charge on March 21. Thomas did not appear for the hearing.

In a statement from the Broncos: "We were notified of the issue involving Julius Thomas when it occurred on Aug. 28. It was addressed internally and is being resolved."

His next court appearance has been scheduled for Sept. 12 at 8:30 a.m.

( someone just take him ))

The "failure to appear" arrest is the same offense that led to the arrest of Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller on Aug. 11.

One would think that the moment Miller was arrested all the other players would have turned their pockets inside out trying to make sure they didn't get caught in the same bind. How freaking ridiculous.

Perhaps the Broncos need a "Special -Assistant in Charge of Reminders".

"We're getting on the bus now, does anyone have to go wee-wee".
