Overtime Rule

I thought the NFL put in the new OT rule this year where if the team that wins the coin toss kicks a fieldgoal on the first drive, the other team gets the ball to try and score.

Is this going in next year or not at all?

Yea, really I feel bad for anyone who is new to football because of this, but basically in regular season the old OT rules apply, but in the playoffs, the new rule applies. And don't get me started on college OT rules either .

Always felt OT should be left alone. The concept of sudden death is one of the most exciting aspects of sports.

I like that you can't just kick a field goal now, but a TD wins it. That is exciting. That needs to be implemented in the regular season as well.
