Im glad we saw a Corner that was aggressive tonight, dont know how many times I said it or will say it going forward but Powers is a Cover 2 come up and make the tackle type of Corner who doesn't take very many risks, I can live with a Corner getting beat if he takes risks, it beats a slow methodical drive where a receiver makes catch after catch which leads to a slow death

All game I was wondering what happened to Blackmon. I thought he had left the game with an injury or something, I barely heard his name at all. 3 receptions for 25 yards for the highest selected receiver in the draft against a depleted secondary. Nice

Well, when you have a quarterback like Gabbert and a Running back like Jones-Drew running it as much as he does... there is a good chance the numbers won't be that big. At least not this year.

Yeah, true.

Thanks for coming out to the forum tonight, folks. Nothing like watching a prime time Colts game with the friends on the forum! Have a great Friday and a great weekend, everyone!

    • From NFL.com draft profile   Cross operated as the bouncer of the Maryland defense, playing with the aggression and explosiveness to throw opponents out of the club. He is a chase player who seeks to make a statement upon impact and has impressive stopping power near the line or as an open-field tackler. He's a tight-hipped, linear mover, so flipping and flying are not his strong suit. He's capable of matching with most flavors of tight end and will be most comfortable in coverages that allow him to play with a downhill trigger. He has the temperament, size and toughness to become an eventual starter in the league.   You must read PFN profile. The only profile that talks single high time. The rest talk SS and split S.    Several talk speed, and perhaps project both or flex.
    • I like TN DL (front 7) personnel management and rotation.  Very flexible.    But seems they are playing Autry bit more at OLB (3-4 OLB), instead of 3-4 DE/DT. IDK about that.. At least when watched.
    • He wants a fully guaranteed contract. Screw that this is an adult league. Don’t be the browns.
    • His OL last season was worse.  His protection rate last season was 32nd.  This year, 22nd so far.    Scheme is shallower this year. So expect lower yards unless we see a lot of meaningless yards (comeback attempts). Likely less TDs. More INTs.
