Was this our "frustration" game?

Alright, I'll address the elephant in the room before somebody else brings it up. We are a young football team. I know we all (realistically) expect some bumps and growing pains this season and possibly the next few seasons. However, I look at some of these other teams in the league, and I see a pattern. These teams get humbled, and then get mean on another opponent.

Look at the Jets today, coming off a recent 34-0 destruction at the hands of the 49ers. The Packers tonight against the Texans. Maybe we come out of the gate firing next week. This may have been our humbling game folowing an emotional win for Coach Pagano.

However, this is our 2nd away game, with both being losses. I'm sure the atmosphere and crowd noise on foreign turf does not help.

Also, when looking at the issues this team is facing right now, nothing is really new. Our run defense has never really been stellar by any means; after all, we were responsible for "Arian Foster" becoming a household name after the 2010 opener. We seem to get pinched by the injury bug every season te way we have this year (Davis, Mathis, Moala, Brown, Angerer, etc.) As much as Luck can shoulder the blame for turnovers, our entire team was dull and uninspired today.... look at the fumble by Reggie at the end; very uncharacteristic.

If this didn't make sense, I apologize. I've been mulling this game over all day and have probbly blown a gasket at this point. We just have to keep our chins up, and bring on the Browns at home. :blueshoe:

The Browns probably think they are all that and a bag of potato chips now that they have finally won a game, and against a team that everyone picked them to lose to. They will think the Colts are down after losing so many starters and an anti-climactic loss to the Jets, so this game should be an interesting one. Richardson might be out, which would be a blessing to the Colts defense.

Except if you have him in your ff team lol!

    • Pacers have a nice lead at halftime and should be favored to win this game.   No way Brunson was going to score 43 points again and Knicks just don't have alot of scoring other than him
    • Colts would still be in Baltimore if they build them a new stadium, but no.After the colts are gone Baltimore builds a new stadium and takes Cleveland's football team. Should of kept the Colts to begin with.
    • To be clear…. There has not been a suspension for a second violation.  This suspension is for the original incident which happened three weeks ago, back on April 17.   I think Doyel issued two apologies.  One that night and the other the next day.  Honestly, as awkward and clumsy as it was, I thought Doyle actually meant well.     I dislike Doyel as much as anyone.  But I think this is a bit of overkill.  I don’t think it comes from the Indy Star.  The newspaper is now owned by Gannett which owns USA Today.  Corporate wheels move very slowly.  I wish this had blown over.    If I had thought for a moment that Doyel was being a jerk or a bad guy in any way I wouldn’t mind someone dropping the hammer on him.  This all feels a bit much, but life is often unfair.     Ok…. I’ve defended Greg Doyel.  I’ll go take a shower now.
    • I wonder if Pierce might be used more instead of just being a deep threat?
    • I'm watching an NBA game for the first time in at least 5 years. I don't know any of the players but Turner looks familiar.    My brother is right. They are playing a lot faster than what I remember in the past. It is a lot more fun.   Maybe I don't remember but it seems that the refs are not calling Traveling as much as they used to. Is that right? They are letting the guys play. It is much more fun to watch.
