Drop Antonio Gates?

I'm dropping Antonio Gates for Owen Daniels, just kind of wanted some feedback/extra opinions.

Very risky because he could come up with a big game out of no where but if it was up to me I'd say yes.

Gates has had a chronic foot issue for going on 3 years now... I have not even considered him draftable for 2 years now. Much more "reliable" options out there.

i thought gates was healthy and primed for a big year so i took a chance on him in a later rd. i regret it. he is killing me

no no no...You could shop Gates around if need be, but you just don't drop players like that. Get value for him at least. There is really nobody else on your team thats not producing that you can drop in order to carry both Gates and Daniels? I guess if Daniels is even available, this is probably an 8 team league?

Yes this is an 8 team league. But my thought process is this, the team I'm playing has Hernandez and he is probably searching the waiver wire for a TE, so why not beat him to the punch? My back up tight is Greg Olsen, should I drop him instead?

Yeah I'm dropping Olsen instead.. It just tickes me off because I just spent like $11 dollars for Olsen now I'm dropping him lol. Oh well.
