Midseason rookie report cards for every team

This is an article i read that grades every draft for every team halfway into the season. I thought this piece was well done because of the fact that the writer adds undrafted free agents into the equation as part of the grade. The UDFA process is important as each team has an equal chance of adding those undrafted gems to their roster and it is that extra layer of depth that can really make or break an otherwise bad draft. This piece is very informative about the rookie class and should give an idea of how our and every other team's 2014 class should eventually turn out.

A B+ is just about right for the Colts. Every draft pick has offered us something with the exception of Ulrick John who has a season ending injury early on. Grigson definitely reversed any criticisms he may have received after this. And that was with limited picks. I can't imagine what he'll do in the 2015 draft with all his picks, as well as an extra 6th and 7th.

Completely agree with that statement. Grigson has knocked it out of the park in 2 out of 3 drafts, and even in a down 2013 draft, got 4 decent players. I was doubtful this year when we picked our players, but Grigson has my 100% trust when it comes to the draft now. Next year's draft, as you said, we are at full strength, and I can't wait to see how we improve our defense.

Jags grade is laughable. Bortles has stunk, Hurns has had a couple big plays in garbage time and Robinson is just the best of a terrible WR corps.

Me he is in a no win situation right now, no veteran receiver and an O Line made of 3 rookies (one of them being an undrafted rookie) a 2nd year LT who has the physical ability to play LT but his rookie year only consisted of 5 games so he don't even have 16 games under his belt yet.... and a marginally talented LG, He has played bad at times but he does have a 63.4 completion %...What that team needs is some time and some quality veteran leadership on offense
