Poor TY?

I havent felt so bad for a rookie..in a long time

Luck caught the Steeltrs and Troy P. in a blitz...TY was wide open and he was running diagnoally away fromt he last defender...Sure TD

But only does he bobble the ball he bats the son-of-a-gun back towards the line of scrimmage so it could be intercepted///

I thought he was going to cry.

In truth..we should have led 24-14 at the half.

Hope he can catch a big one against the Skins this saturday

Hilton had some good spots in the game but that definitely wasn't one of them. The fade they threw to him on the goal line I think they should have chosen someone else with a little bit more height to run that one. Overall he had somewhat of a shaky night

Everyone drops passes. Maybe not like that and leads to an INT, but it's something Pagano & Co. will work with the team on cause a few of our WR's had some drops. Just gotta learn from it

TK....

Everyone drops passes..but it takes REAL SKILL to bat the ball back towards the line of scrimmage to be picked off!!!

He is talented!!

Hopefully..one day at the Pro Bowl...he'll laugh about what SHOULD HAVE BEEN his first pro TD

What I liked about that play was seeing TY fight like H.E. double hockey sticks to get back in the play and make the tackle. he should have been upset that he made such a boneheaded mistake, but his reaction was the best possible, IMO.

I was watching some show the other night with Magnum, PI in it, where a character said "We all make mistakes. Character is defined by what we do next."

    • Strongest Groups 1. OL 2. DL 3. WR   Weakest Groups 1. CB 2. S 3.LB     Slight difference from your groups but when  I analyzed the weakness the back end of our D is scary starting at LBer back.
    • Eagles sometimes seem like they are flying by the seat of their pants.    They don't truly gauge team chemistry and fit completely because they hedge their bets on a few marquee free agents they sign for 2 years typically tops, hoping they will fit. As far as their core, they got Hurts, Brown and DeVonta Smith plus Goedert and their OL/DL. The RB positions and secondary, they dabble a lot in free agency. Hey, if you can fit it into the cap and make it work, that is great but they need that 1 SB to show for it, like the Rams did. They have actually had far more swings in FA over several more years than the Rams.   Texans are just new to that FA party.
    • Some people just don't get it. In most cases, with today's ridiculous salaries, once most of these free agents get that big guarateed contract, they lose their edge and desire. Money is their motivation, once they get it,in most cases, the motivation disappears.
    • Yeah, I think we over performed considering the talent at QB and the defense.  Which is a credit to the coaching staff.   Woods never really played and he's a difference maker at TE, very hard to cover.  They really didn't utilize Pierce to his full advantage, mainly due to Minshew's arm.  MPJ is a solid WR, but I wouldn't consider him a playmaker.  But I do consider him a first down maker.   The D was bad.  Even though they set a record for sacks, the QB pressure was noticeably poor.  Safety was a glaring weakness late in the season.  Cost us the Texans game.  In retrospect, it may have been a good thing though.  Latu is going to shake things up.   Still, Ballard has to address FS.  I know there's time and guys available.  I hope it gets done.  I think it's the only really bad position on the team.  I could live with the CBs.
