are the 2012 saints doomed

the saints right now are a mess. head coach is suspended and coaching his son's team, brees is unhappy with his contract, 4 saint players are suspended, the owner is already suspended for 8 games, but will probably get more with the whole listen device scandal. lets not forget, they only got 5 picks in the draft. the saints organization is on a downward spiral and im having a hard time envisioning them hosting the superbowl in their own backyard or just making the playoffs. thoughts?

It's a pretty safe bet they won't be in contention for the 2012 season.

Would not bother me seeing them out of the spotlight.They deserve what they got.

Everything is working against them...

- Their division is getting better and better

- Their schedule is pretty tough

- They don't have the 2nd best coach in the league

- Missing a lot of their old defensive vets for the first couple of games, then a couple of others for longer periods of time

- They lost some players to free agency

- Drew Brees isn't the happiest

I say they go 9-7 or 10-6... which means they get a wildcard spot
