Buckner and Ebukam

When can we expect them back? Buck should only be a couple more weeks right? Ebukam near the end of the season? Is Ebukam a long shot?

Ebukam the colts said MIGHT have an outside chance to come back at the end of the season or for the playoffs if we make them.

 

Buckner has 2-4 more weeks before being back in a game depending on practice , I think they can start practicing at week 4 and can do it up to 3 weeks before reverting to IR or active game day roster

I wouldn’t expect to see Ebukam back this year tbh. The injury he sustained typically requires an entire year to come back from.

The earliest Buckner can come back is in two more weeks.  I don’t think the Colts have set a time line though.

Buckner went on IR for a sprained ankle correct? I’m hoping he’s back for the Miami game.

Buckner has at least two more games to sit. I bet he is out a litter longer though. It will probably be more like six weeks like downs.

High ankle sprain.  Those can be tricky because they really aren’t sprained ankles and more torn ligaments.  Mild ones you can play on the next week really bad ones can require season ending surgery.

I sprained my ankle 3 times while playing sports. And to this day roughly 10-12 years later I have a weak ankle. At that point you learn how to fall when you start to roll your ankle. Ankles are fun. 
 

just look at JT. He seemed to have reinsured his ankle on Sunday.

My son runs cross country and track (and just for bragging, he has been recruited to run in college next year... ).

 

He had a high ankle sprain last season. We sat with the sports doc who explained it all very well. The deal is: after the moment of injury, you really can't damage it again. Its hurt, but its not going to get 'more' hurt by working on it.

 

The problem is, it hurts. Alot. And it has no power (because it hurts). The doc told him he could run that week and of course my son thinks he is indestructible. He tried to run. Let's just say, it didn't work out so well for him.

 

After a few weeks and some rehab stretching, he was fine.
