I don't want to go point by point on this. Regarding the timing, I think you're being generous with how much time would run off the clock for each play. We agree, the best option would have been to return the kick. Either it was a schematic oversight, or a communication error, and either way they should correct that. However, the magnitude of the mistake is being overblown. And even if the coaches said 'we decided not to return the kick because we didn't want to risk a turnover or a penalty,' that would be understandable, even if I think the returning the kick was the best option. Calling this a fireable offense is too much.

Fourth Q for sure. But what if we get a 14 point lead in the first half? I think that’s the time to be aggressive.

I just realized when we beat Steelers last year I think Freeland was at RT. -
I have a feeling we won't have the guys who got hurt late in the Bears game. We need this win, mostly for moral support!
