When Georgia beat Stroud in the National Championship when his kicker missed it, I felt that was a good sign for him in the NFL as a Buckeye QB.

Stroud is a gamer. 30 points is what it took, right? :)

Roger Federer didn’t win much in the Junior Circuit but once he started winning as a Pro, he never stopped.

No excuse for Boyd to drop that ball for Bengals.

He carried that team on his back thst game. When you look thst good against what is essentially a nfl defense your going yo be just fine in the nfl.

Stroud looks the real deal but he is with the wrong franchise. They are cheap and won't build around him. When they had 'great' Watson they didn't build around him either. Watson had Hopkins and that was about it. JJ on defense.

He’s a top tier QB. That’s back to back game winning drives. Kind of reminds me of the start Tom Brady had to his career

Just like the Bengals owner learned with Carson Palmer and changed with FA for Burrow, the Texans owner probably gets behind Stroud for a change.

Colts are 5-5, Bengals are 5-4. But yeah, as of now they are OUT of the playoff picture. Too many teams with decent records in the AFC.

That is why you need double digit wins in the AFC to clinch a playoff berth, especially with 17 game season

Ok. I knew they had dug a hole. The Bengals game at the LOS could be big.

Don’t look now but the Browns ended up winning that game. Suddenly they’re dangerous.

Jags will want revenge, Browns are good, and they play us here. Remember we have the tie breaker against them too.

Go take a look at the Jaguars vs Texans history. It’s lop sided in favor of Texans

Texans 9-1 vs Jaguars in the last 10 games and 15-3 in the last 18, this goes. back 9 years. Like we can’t win in Jacksonville, Jaguars can’t win one vs Texans if their life depended on it

AFC North is loaded, wrong year to play them. Texans are 2-1 vs AFC North with the only loss coming in very first game on the road.

Ravens have lost so many games winning early to lose it later this year, might even lose division chances if they continue this. Plus, all those losses going for 2 in the previous years, makes you wonder if he will wear out his welcome in a year. Also, looks like the Chiefs take care of business and end up with No.1 seed again, lol :)

That Jags and Texans came in two weeks is going to be huge.

They are all big now even for us. The Browns just won and losing to them is going to stick out like huge thorn if we end up 9-8 and missed the playoffs. We are almost forced now to have to beat Cincy and sweep Houston looking ahead. I am not sure that will happen?

Well naturally! Looking more and more likely the Chiefs walk into the Super Bowl yet again for a fairytale Kelce-Swift Super Bowl. The NFL would love nothing more. Imagine the TV ratings!

I know you guys like the Chiefs, but boy would I love to see some different teams in there for once. No 49ers… No Eagles… No Chiefs… just someone else…

What’s wrong with the 49ers? The Brock Purdy story would be awesome for me.

He played well today. I had a hard time thinking that team would lose 4 in a row.

If their D and OL play well, I can see them going on the road and winning to make the SB when fully healthy with CMC, Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk and Trent Williams healthy at LT.

Deebo changes game plans for everyone

    • Yeah, Ebukam almost looks clumsy next to Latu. He's just so fluid.
    • Did Hou actually get that much better? This really does remain to be seen. I am of the opinion that the signing of Diggs is a signing that has been made about 2 years too late. He won't be bad, but he isn't a top 10 WR in the NFL anymore. I wouldn't put him as any more dangerous that Pittman, so WR's are a push. We have the better RB, Mixon is great and all, but he is not JT. We have the better Oline, and it isn't even close. TE's are a push, we have a lot of upside, but until it is realised im very "meh" on our TEs. QB - I would argue that Stroud is probably more likely to regress to the mean in year 2 vs improve. That rookie season of his was a bit silly, and they had an easier schedule last season too. If he really does build on last year and get even better, then our entire discourse here is probably irrelevant as we will have another Mahomes level QB on our hands to deal with in the AFC and within the AFC South no less. So unless Richardson is also a Mahomes level talent in that scenario, we are done for anyways. To me, our success in this coming season comes down to 2 groups on this entire team. 1. The QB (because... duh) 2. Our DBs. If we even get average play from the DBs, I think this team has the ability to win the whole damned thing (supposing Richardson stays healthy and is what we all hope he is). I would also argue that Houston are paper thin. If they lose a OL starter, Mixon or even one of their starting WRs.... they have a very big drop off. And injuries happen in the NFL. Just sayin...
    • If he wasn’t fast enough or athletic enough anymore for linebacker, then he’s not going to be able to cut it at Safety where speed , quickness, athleticism are even more important.    Wish it wasn’t so….
    • could he be another bob sanders at that position?
    • Man I love me some Maniac, but it won't happen, and he's too slow after his surgeries.
