CR91 final mock draft

Recommended Posts

I'm not saying this will happen, but I'm gonna approach this draft as the Texans taking Will Anderson.

Colts trade up to 3 giving up 3rd this year and second next year

1. C.J Stroud QB Ohio State

Colts throughout this off-season have mentioned accuracy as one of their main vocal points for their QB evaluation and Stroud's accuracy is un-matched compared to the other QBs. This will obviously come down to what the Texans do, but I feel like if Stroud gets past the Texans Ballard will pull the trigger.

Colts trade down to 47 with the Commanders and pick up their 97th pick

2. Cam Smith CB South Carolina

Cam Smith's long arms, strength, and flexibility makes him an ideal Ballard corner. Might be gone by 47, but it's a tremendous value pick.

3. Emil Ekiyor Jr. G Alabama

Three year starter. A powerful olinemen in the run game and solid in pass-pro.

4. Michael Wilson WR Stanford

So much potential talent when I watch Wilson. Can pinpoint the ball in the air, great in YAC, and can create separation, however injuries have been a problem. I do think the talent outweighs the risk though.

5. Owen Pappoe LB Auburn

Fast, hard hitting LBer, but a bit undersized and dealt with injuries.

5. Evan Hull RB Northwestern

Passing catching back to add a wrinkle to the offense.

5. Cory Trice CB Purdue

Huge corner at 6 3 200 pounds with 10 PDs and 2 picks. Has dealt with injuries.

7. Isaiah Land Edge Florida A&M

Has put 26 sacks the last two seasons albeit in a small school. A lot of potential in terms of size and speed.

7. Christian Jones T Texas

A project T that we can develop.

I expect Cam Smith to go in 1st round and Isaiah Land to go 4th-5th round

I've seen mocks where he goes anywhere from 30 to 45. Land dipped his sack production and goes to a very small school
