Should we attempt a trade for DeAndre Hopkins?

Recommended Posts

I would say no, he and Pit are kind of in the same mold as possession receivers with average speed. He’s also getting a little older now and has had some this/hamstring issues and knee flare up lately. He’s still good and i wouldn’t be upset if we got him, but I think we would be better served building younger around whoever the new QB is.

It’s a trade I’d make after free agency, subject to these:

1. See if he has a preference to go to contenders first (he’ll be setting for us then)

2. See what happens with our efforts to re-sign Parris and if Parris is re-signed, that’s all we need with receiving TEs like Ogletree, Woods and Granson with plenty of catches to go to.

No.   He’s an X.    The Colts have a good one.   Michael Pittman.

No.   He’s VERY expensive.   He’d be the highest paid player on the Colts roster.   No thank you!

No.   The Colts need the picks.

Yes, the Colts need a better receiver.   Hopkins is not the right fit at the right time.
