Should we attempt a trade for DeAndre Hopkins?

I would say no, he and Pit are kind of in the same mold as possession receivers with average speed. He’s also getting a little older now and has had some this/hamstring issues and knee flare up lately. He’s still good and i wouldn’t be upset if we got him, but I think we would be better served building younger around whoever the new QB is.

It’s a trade I’d make after free agency, subject to these:

 

1. See if he has a preference to go to contenders first (he’ll be setting for us then)

2. See what happens with our efforts to re-sign Parris and if Parris is re-signed, that’s all we need with receiving TEs like Ogletree, Woods and Granson with plenty of catches to go to.

I think I would pass. Hopkins was suspended for performance enhancing substances last season.  That voided his no trade clause.  Personally I don't want the Colts to pick up his huge contract.
