Rich Cannon
Interesting, but not surpised. I dont think they go after Lloyd, I think Rams wont let him go.
chad72
This suggests that the Pats could go after Brandon Lloyd, or our own Reggie Wayne .http://network.yardbarker.com/nfl/article_external/new_england_patriots_wr_corps_could_have_a_much_different_look_next_season/9815701Remember Belichick - if someone schools him while he plays against him, he tries to get that guy on his side just like he did with Welker from the Dolphins. Wayne has consistently gotten open vs the Pats secondary including 2 TDs in the 2009 game, and one TD in the 2010 game, if I remember right. Just like Belichick got Welker, Wayne could be a Patriot if we let him go. I can definitely see this one coming. Wayne will get more open than Branch, mark that down.Branch and Ocho Cinco are gone, Wayne or Brandon Lloyd will end up being a Patriot, IMO. Leon
http://espn.go.com/b...tor-source-saysDoes this mean the Pats go after Brandon Lloyd and try to get him as the vertical threat they need?it makes perfect sense, a talented young receiver, fits a pats need and has a relationship with mcdaniels, i dont see why they wouldnt go after him
OllyDawes
Interesting, but not surpised. I dont think they go after Lloyd, I think Rams wont let him go.He's a free agent no? Lloyd follows McDaniels everywhere, I'm sure we will see him in a Patriots uniform soon.
JimJaime
Only way I see Lloyd not a patriot is if the Rams franchise him.(Lloyd,Welker,Gronk and Hernandez a very good WR core)
