All in your perspective

Just heard a recording of Tom Brady.  The clip was him basically saying..." you have to change what you do if you want a different outcome.  We have to play better."  Sounds like common sense, right?

   Contrast this with the old " keep chopping wood", or " keep doing what we do" philosoph.  Both really are addressing the same problem..:.  improvement.   One focuses more on what you do or did right.  One approach focuses on the heart of the issue...improvement.

  It seems harmless, two views of the same isdue really.  However, one addresses the heart of the issue, the other kind of skirts it.

  It kind of goes hand in hand with the accountability issue.

The whole "keep chopping wood" approach always bothrred me.  I picture someone banging their head against a wall trying to break thru when theres an open window to their left and an unlocked door to their right.  Once again, attention to detail and awareness of the situation.

From my perspective why would you ever do the same thing over and over in sports when it's proven that it doesn't work.  That's the epitome of stupidity to me
