Bene Benwikere

Kinda shocking move by Carolina. The waived Bene Benwikere. He struggled so far this year, especially against ATL,  but last year looked like a pretty decent corner who might be coming into his own. Carolina doesn't play much man coverage so I don't know how he'd look in our scheme, but we're pretty desperate right now. Wish we'd pick him up and give it a shot.

Chances are, he would look very much like d'joun Smith did in TC last year (which was a train wreck).That is what a young zone cb looks like making the transition,  especially a late Round pick. 

 

We do not have the depth on our team right now to stash him away and coach him up, and even if we did, I'm not convinced we have the coaches to actually do it.
