Jacksonville has lost 4 of their last 5 but its not because of QB Blake Bortles (338 of 574, 4,189 yards  35 Tds, 16 INTs) and 1,000-yard receivers Sllen Robinson (75 catches, 1,292 yards, 14 TDs) and Allen Hurns (61 catches, 1,013 yards)

By they way I'll give a dollar in pennies to anybody who is not a super nerd fantasy player who knew that Allen Hurns was an NFL receiver with 1,000 yards gained?

 

Houston gets veteran QB Brian Hoyer (199 of 329, 2,357 yards, 18 Tds, 6 INTs) after 2 weeks off with a concussion..

WR DeAndre Hopkins (104 catches, 1.432 yards, 11 Tds) can light up the scoreborard and he needs to because Houston averages just 3.6 yards per rush.

Houston star JJ Watt (14 .5 sacks) has not been the same since he broke his hand 4 weeks ago (go figure) but he's still playing.

The Texans win the AFC West with a win and they would then host either Denver, Kansas City, the Jets or Pittsburgh) on Jan. 10 as the '4' seed

In the Texans lose,,at least 6 other teams have to not show up for their games for the Texans to lose first place to the Colts.

 

If Houston cant win the AFC South at this point,  the franchise should be moved to Waco.

But 6.5 is too many.  Take Jax and the points

It's crazy because all these games are going our way except for this stupid Jacksonville game.  If only we didn't have to depend on Jax.  They are just too inconsistent and mistake prone despite the talent.

Are the Pats even TRYING to win this game? I turned it on for a while and they look so lethargic and blah. Then again if Pittsburgh ends up the 6th seed the second seed will have an easier road IMO over the first.

Yes it does. For all the flack BOB gets, he managed two 9-7 seasons in a row for his first two years. Not too shabby, not great of course but not shabby.
