I think you're right. The right thing isn't always the easiest. That's what made Manning special. He knew drafting Luck was the right thing and a mutual split was best for everyone

I don't think Manning cared about the Luck decision. I just think he wanted to stay, finish what he started here. It's kind of a legacy thing, and it's getting more rare as time passes to see great players finish their careers in one place. Manning having a great appreciation for history, I think that was important to him.

 

Plus, he kind of got dumped for the new guy, which isn't fun.

 

Just saying, as much of a gut punch as it might be to see him on a different team, it wasn't his choice. And as always, I'll add that how you cheer is your business. I'm not judging. It's a tricky deal for everyone, especially the fans.

I hate this game. Thats why I didn't go to it. A lot of mixed feelings. Wanting Peyton to play well but the Colts to win....too hard to sit in the stands for that. I'll deal with my guilt in my recliner lol.
