Wow, let's just rattle off a few names of "aging vets" that played well for playoff teams, that were signed by universally praised GMs:

 

Peyton Manning and Demarcus Ware - Broncos

Randy Moss and Junior Seau - Pats

Julius Peppers and Charles Woodson - Packers

Anquan Boldin - Ravens

Darren Sharper - Saints

 

 

And these are just FA signings.  Let's not forget all the "aging vets" that get re-signed with their team because they are good players...

I didn't like the AJ signing either.  Houston did not seem to press hard enough to keep him.

Try not to over-react to very small sample sizes.

 

One game means nothing as far as AJ and Gore are concerned.

 

Irsay is trying to win NOW.    HELLO?!?     Don't you as a fan want to win NOW?!? 

 

A good veteran will contribute more than most rookies who typically need a year or two to figure things out.

 

This is NOT brain surgery.    Stop acting like it is.

It is true just one game and the first game of the 16 games season. But AJ dropped balls. Wet weather, and whatever he dropped balls throwing to him. AJ got to catch balls thrown to him. That is all we saying.
