If deflate gate didn't even happen, what possible explanations can we come up with to explain the texts?

I have heard that "the deflator" was a term used to describe someone who has recently lost weight (we hear this phrase used all the time, I know). Does anyone else have any explanations or interpretations of what the texts REALLY meant, since the report has clearly been disproved?
