Yeah, that's not true. The legal tampering window allows a player and team to reach an agreement. They simply cannot sign and execute the contract until Tuesday at 4pm. The exact terms can already be worked out though. The difference this year is that the terms of contracts (years, total dollar value, guaranteed money etc) are being released prior to the official signing. Now, if any player has already signed a contract, then that would be a violation. However, agreeing to terms is not a violation. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
