Cool story. I do think there is some gamesmanship there by Luck. It reminds of Derek Jeter. There was a game I think in the World Series, I can't remember all the details but it was a key situation in the game and Jeter was coming up and the opposing pitcher said he was dialed in to try to get Jeter out and as Jeter stepped into the batters box, he smiled at the pitcher. The pitcher said it totally threw him off and disarmed him and he ended up giving up a hit to Jeter.

 

I do think Luck is generally a good guy and all but he is also smart and knows what he is doing is getting inside of the heads of the defenders. I like it. I hope they have him mic'd up so we can hear some of it.
