How much does Bruce Arian's know about the Colts offense?

He doesn't know his progressions in this offense.....and without Reggie..

...we don't take chances the way we did (sucessfully) with Bruce as coach..

We have less TDs but less turnovers....

......Keep in mind../Luck isn't playing with the same skill players he was with last season...

Brown was hurt..so was Fleeenr....DHB wasn't in Indy..Neither was T Rich or Havili

..and the offensive structure is different.

We just are NOT the same team we were in 2012...we won then and we're winning now....we're just not the same

Eveything you said is true but none of that really matters.  Same QB, same QB coach.  So when he sees man to man coverage and it looks like the safety is creeping towards the line he is going to look for a deep pass to that WR.  He is going to know what looks to give that will cause Luck to hestitate for a fraction of a second or mess up his presnap reads.

In the end, I don't think Arians knowledge will be the difference in the game because it's still a matter of execution.  But it will make a difference, especially in the beginning quarter to quarter and half.

In bold^^^

I am not sure if WE even are remotely comfortable with the progressions with new receivers and running backs in the picture.

We need to find a rhythm from here until the end of the season...we need to find that next man up we are 'famous for.'  I has yet to transpire with Reggie down.

T.Y. and Fleener have both stepped up, the problem is no one behind them is doing ANYTHING.

TY was already up....Fleener has done well too as you say....

I think we are in total agreement here :)

Yeah, Rogers, DHB, Brazill and others need to step up.  They all may be fighting for a job next off season if they don't.

I hope you didn't take offense.  I come to this board for several reasons but one of the main reasons is because the fans on here link and find things that I could not or don't have the time too look for, so I really was just asking for information.

Not at all.  I try to not take anything on internet boards too seriously; and as we can see, I was in fact, wrong.

Bruce Arians will notice this for sure "oh, you guys call more passing plays for RBs now??? I guess I didn't call enough of that last year and Luck didn't take them either when available at times" :)

Well, Bruce, life without Wayne means getting the ball into hands of players who can hold on to it (like TY, Fleener and RBs), such is life :).

I didn't know pagano changed his first name...

The post was in reference to Chuck's brother John, who is the DC in San Diego.

    • It clearly isn’t all the line  in panthers land. Dalton had no issues. Young is small and meak. He gets swamped up. He isnt like Murray. If young had Murray’s body type he might be ok but he doesn’t. He looks like he don’t know what he is doing.
    • That is so far my third biggest gripe with SS.  First being his offense seems very vanilla.  We are approaching Frank Reich status here.   Second I don't think AR is making as much progress as he should be.   Third he seems to make very poor in game decisions and then takes the blame as if that is a huge testament to his character.   I could care less about character.  Just learn how to coach.  And when the clock is at 2:01 and you have a kickoff coming against a team with 1 timeout left?  You run the ball out of the endzone and you literally scream at your special teamers or your special teams coach to do that.   The fact that he didn't literally tells me he is a stupid person when it comes to football IQ.
    • What did you think of Luck after his first 7 games? How about Peyton Manning? Josh Allen? Richardson has a higher completion percentage (54.8) than Luck ( 49.5) and Allen ( 52.8) through his first 7 games. And less than 5% completion percentage behind Manning (59.5). Richardson has more Yards per throw (7.4) than any of them (Manning 7.1, Allen 6.8 and Luck 6.5) . Richardson has a higher QB rating (72.7) than Manning (71.8) and Luck (65.9), and less than 4% points behind Allen (76.3). Sure..... Allen is the exception that proves the rule.... ok. Richardson's accuracy is the type of throws that CAN be fixed. Those short and intermediate throws are easier to fix than the deeper routes. And oh by the way, it's not like we havent seen him do it. He had a darned near 60% completion percentage last year in the games he played as a pure rookie. The guy is coming off of season ending surgery and had no offseason and you are writing him off..... give me a break.
    • Today AR is ahead, but he wasn’t when they were picked. Young WAS far more accurate in College. And he led a team to a National Championship.  That has to mean something.
