I like that Howell has stepped in and done a great job of playing safety. With that being said I know a few plays where he had the guy wrapped up only for the player to break contain for extra yards.

When Landry played and hit the player went no further.......I can't wait for him to come back. When he is on the field our whole defense seems to play better, just like bob used to

Howell was great depth but Landry is the man u said it well when we are fully healthy gonna be good team our weakess links are pat, Toler, and satele

Yeah once Landry is back, ouch..........  That's all I can say, Delano is looking really good however without a competent backup SS who is playing great, who knows where the Colts would be.  With regards to this game a couple plays can make the diff.

Landry would have been a big help today.  You do have to give Delano a lot of props though!!

A backup like Delano is a huge asset when you have a starter that plays like Landry.  There's a drop off Landry to Howell, but it's very small.

I disagree...with all due respect to Howell. Landry would have stopped a lot of the runs by Lynch before they went further. And the scrambles by Wilson would have probably gone for less yardage, bc Landry's strength is run support. Howell had a guy (TE) wrapped but he slipped by for a first down. Landry would have stopped that guy in the backfield like Howell was trying to do. Howell played pretty well today and definitely a capable backup, but the Hawks don't gouge us for the ground yards they did today with the Landry. Just my opinion based on what I saw early in the season.
