Positive about Donald Thomas Injury

Hugh Thornton is getting a lot of playing time..

First team reps in practice and starting at guard for our offense for the rest of the season..

By the time next year rolls around we will have to good tackles and guards as long as everyone can stay healthy.

And who knows maybe Holmes will emerge as a possible starter.

Or we stay with Satele or look into free agency.

I think our line has potential to be really good next year.

Can't forget the addition of Trent Richardson as well..

Plus Dwayne Allen will be. Back, he helps I'm blocking packages.

There is nothing positive about losing your best interior lineman.

And Thomas coming back IS NOT a guarantee.   He suffered a very serious injury.

Personally I do not see him coming back from this.   Quad, bicep, tri,  and pec tears have ended a lot of players careers.

From what I have gathered from local media it was not a tendon tear but the muscle itself "tore" ...   that is bad.  I could be wrong, and I hope I am.

It would be like trying to sew a piece of meat to another piece of meat...   ugghhh     That is how it was explained to me via local media.    This is not an cut and dry rehap for DT, and it is so sad because he was INDY's best lineman up until his injury.

I hope he makes it back.

They paid him ...   and they do not like to admit failure.

If they were truly "open minded" to the competition battles then AQ would be here and SS would be unemployed.

But, such is how this business works....

OH, and SS would not be starting again this week....      sigh.....

now if only the colts would bench satele. I dont get what their fascination is with him
