Reggie Wayne: Peyton Manning still Peyton Manning

Wayne saw Manning leads the Broncos back from a 24-0 halftime deficit in San Diego as Denver went on to a 35-24 win. It was Manning’s third consecutive 300-yard passing game.

“Twenty-four nothing at half, that’s way too early for celebrating, way too early to pop the champagne bottles, people should know better by now,” Wayne said. “He’s done it too many times before, you can’t watch him and think he couldn’t do it again.”

And Manning’s arm strength? His movement skills? His play after missing the 2011 season following neck surgeries?

“He looks the same to me, he looks like Peyton,” Wayne said. “It doesn’t look any different to me. Not a bit. I’m happy for him.”
