EastStreet
Quick Summary - Miami's O vs Colts D While our D is very average, their O is close to the bottom in all meaningful categories. Fitzpatrick is playing a little better than Rosen, but still not good. Their OL is among the worst, and our average defense should look above average vs Miami. Their starting our LOT is Webb, who the Colts cut after preseason. One of the worst rushing teams in the league should help pad our rushing D stats. NOTE: Their RZ O stat is a bit misleading (see scoring in last 3 games vs first 5). And they rarely make it to the RZ.... Miami Offense 30th in total yards per game (262.3) 29th in passing yards per game (198.5) 31st in total rushing yards per game (63.8) 30th in total points per game (12.9) 13th in Red Zone Offense % (62%) - 80% in last 3 games (QB change) 1st (tied) in INTs thrown (12) 3rd in sacks taken (32) VS Colts Defense 14th in total yards per game allowed (339.9) 15th in passing yards allowed (231.3) 18th in rushing yards allowed (108.6) 17th in points per game allowed (22.1) 10th in Red Zone Defense % (52) 19th (5 way tie) in INTs (5) 21st (3 way tie) in sacks (20) Quick Summary - Miami's D vs Colts O While our overall O and passing O is a little below average, Miami's D is at or near the bottom as well. Our top 5 OL shouldn't have a problem and Mack should have decent day if we have any passing game at all. While their passing D isn't awful, it's below average, and among the worst in sacks and INTs. A recovering JB should do fine to very good, and if Hoyer plays, he likely lights them up. They give up close to a league worst of 8.6 yards per pass, so deep balls would be successful IF we try. Miami Defense 29th in total yards per game allowed (402.4) 20th in passing yards allowed (251.6) 31st in rushing yards allowed (150.8) 32nd in points per game allowed (32) 27th in Red Zone Defense % (64%) 28th in INTs (3) 30th in sacks (12) VS Colts Offense 21st in total yards per game (343.6) 23rd in passing yards per game (213.9) 9th in total rushing yards per game (129.8) 17th in total points per game (22.8) 3rd in Red Zone Offense % (68%) 25th in INTs thrown (4) 23rd in sacks taken (16) Prediction If JB starts - 24 - 13 If Hoyer starts - 34 - 16 1
EastStreet
Some of the vegas lines were trending down, but going back up now. Wonder if handicapers are liking Hoyer.
