Ok let's look at 3 games where 2 future HoF quarterbacks put some stats up against them. They still won 2 of those games and 1 of them was a defensive clinic. So 2 bad games statistically vs 15 good games statistically (14 regular season games plus 1 playoff game...the Titans and 49ers game were bad defensive games) no thanks to their offense. That's not what I'd call overrated.

Yes you would.

..When you look at 2017 Jacksonville defensively...look at the times they faced backup QBs..during the regular season (including 4 games vs. Colts, Houston)

..and then look at the bath they took in the last 2 playoff games.

If OUR team (whoever that may be) was solid defensively all year (statistically No. 1 in the AFC) and then gave up exactly 889 yards and 66 points in 2 playoff games....(we don't even want to talk about the 380 yards and 44 points they gave up in week 16 at S-F) we would most definitely say they were overrated....we would be shouting it.

If we're being honest, that is the definiton of 'overrated'.:thanks:

I know the Jags are the division rival but you're trying way to hard Unc. The Colts can't even do well enough to be called overrated, and when they were it was OMG COACH NEVER HAD A LOSING SEASONZZZZ!!!!!!

Even the 85 Bears had a hiccup against the Dolphins. The Jags had 2...3 if you count the Pats game 4 if you count the Steelers game which they won...in the year two thousand offenseteen. And they have the stats to back it up. I'm not really a stat guy but I wouldn't call anybody who leads statistically and wins at the same time overrated.

Jax has to figure out why New England and Pittsburgh shredded their defense in the post-season.

..and what that means when they face DeShawn Watson and Andrew Luck this year.

Pittsburgh did but the Pats did not. Brown just made some serious tight window catches in that game. They squeaked by with 24 points, which is low by the Patriots standards, and if not the Jags protecting Bortles and going conservative on offense, and on defense, on a critical 3rd and 18 to that completion to Amendola, that defense would have come through, IMO.

    • Im on the kther side of the state, but I reside over in Sumner/ Lake Tapps area. This state, and the Pacific North West in general, is very beautiful. A good view of Mt Ranier can make most bad days good.   Its $600K minimum for a decent starter home around here. Anything less needs major work, or it is in a not desirable area. The not desirable area ones are still $500K.
    • Well,  Washington is actually a pretty awesome state.  It really has it all.  I know people have issues with politics,  but if you are into hiking,  hunting,  camping,  fishing, skiing (water and snow) and many other outdoor activities,  this place has it all.  Plus in two hours I can be in NW Montana.  And I chose Spokane to live because homes are more expensive in the parts of Montana where my wife would live (gotta have an airport).
    • Spokane is a really, really nice city. Its in the wrong state.
    • I live in Spokane Washington,  25 miles from the Idaho border.
    • In Indiana you can get a real nice 3 bedroom, 2 full bathrooms/showers/nice Kitchen/big living room house for 200,000 in a decent neighborhood. Where do you live NY or Cali , in one of the those states I guess it would be about 600,000 to afford anything like I talked about. I could never live in either of those states. If someone in NY moved here, they would be rich.
