How is 15 catches (27 targets)  for 201 yards and 0 TDs outperforming 28 catches(54 targets) for 464 yards and 2 TDs.  Or is it just that 15 catches for an UDFA is more impressive than 28 catches from a 1st year, 1st round draft pick?

It's the latter.  What Dorsett does is magnified, and rightly so.  So when he doesn't have the stats of a first round pick and he drops passes, people lose patience with him whereas a UDFA making some plays is a pleasant surprise.

Yeah he was complete before the injuries as of right now he's broken until proven otherwise and he doesn't stretch the defense vertically tbh they are on top of him every play besides the jet game and his blocking previous years was great this year he's iffy..I think Doyle has been the more complete te this year

How is he broken?  Dwayne Allen had a vertical route TD against the Jets.  The route he ran against the Vikings was a big reason why Swoope got a vertical route TD.

Allen is the best inline blocker of all the TEs.  Chud has put Allen in some pretty crappy situations this year, blocking-wise (one-on-one with Clowney in the Red Zone is one example).  Doyle also got destroyed on a critical play earlier in the year when he was left one-on-one with an elite pass rusher.

Allen has managed to stay pretty healthy this year, too.

Doyle is an above average blocker when used as an H-back.  He gets to lead block/wham block in that role.  He's opened up some pretty decent lanes recently.

He's broken as in he doesn't produce anymore and you can't say he's in bad situations all the time and he made 1 tough catch against a jets team who gave up we all saw that lol..his blocking vs clowney wasn't a good matchup I'll give you that but he hasn't looked as good as before as a blocker since the injuries. And also he's been relatively healthy this year but previous injuries have hindered his potential this year..and him dropping multiple touchdowns and first downs also makes him look worse but yeah he got swoope open but other than that jets game where he was open on blown coverage 2/3 td catches how often has he been open this year not a lot and when he has the ball has hit the turf

He signed a "reserve/futures" contract Jan of 2015. Does anyone know what that means? How long is he under contract?

Until I looked it up , I thought Swoope was signed as a FA in 2015 which would mean another two years. It was actually 2014. So what that means is the Colts basically have 1 more year . He's actually not user contract for 2017 but the Colts have different ways to keep him for another year. Or they could extend him...
