So tired of the Jerry Hughes excuse.

People forget that he went to a team that had Super Mario, Kyle Williams, and Marcel Dareus on the line. It was the right situation.

People are always so scared that every guy who flashes some potential but doesn't produce, is going to be cut by us and then become Jerry Hughes. It's just a matter of situation. Some players just don't work with one team. Doesn't mean that team failed, just that it wasn't meant to be in that case.

It's the same situation with Vontae Davis. We didn't fleece the Dolphins. It was clear that although he had talent, he wasn't cutting it for the Dolphins so they traded him and he reached his full potential with the Colts.

The point is that not everyone is Jerry Hughes.
