The Chiefs will have to clear salary cap space to get the deal done with Maclin. Most logical savings would be with Dwayne Bowe's contract.

It looks like there are a boatload of FA WR's out there and the draft is also packed? What exactly is our need in a veteran...a #2...a mentor?

 

If it was strictly mentor we would have kept Reggie and unless I missed it Nicks is still on board? Are we holding onto him just in case?
